Ahhg, at least it's better than what I used to do.

Oh, and if the you're wondering why both have pointed ears, well, I got thinking: Both Erika and Kyle are Pyrosen. And 90% of PyreFrost's population[unless you're from another planet] has pointed ears. [Marcus was full Pyrosen, and he used his own DNA when he created these two]. Since both are natives, I thought it would be really weird if they had normal human ears. XD It didn't hit me until a few days ago.

ANYWAYS, This is a remake of a drawing I did back in May 2014.

I really didn't realize how much I had improved in just a year. ~~But I still suck at background, lolol~~
Redrawing old art really helps get your spirits up when you're feeling like your art isn't good enough. :3
[And yes, I changed Erika's hair style a bit, the other style just wasn't workin' for her.]
And you probably noticed the way I drew the hair in this picture, and I really like it. I think I'm going to attempt to start using it more frequently. It gives it a nice look. n_n

Um.. So I'd probably go on and explain more useless trash, but it's late.
I'll do the before and after meme tomorrow, hopefully.

Alright, so first off: that improvement!! Literally every aspect of your work has drastically improved! But what I noticed right off the bat were the expressions of Erika and Kyle. This creates the whole mood of the piece. Intense. What else attributes to the intensity that lacks in the original is the surrounding area. The fire and scenery just makes the whole thing so much more epic!
Next thing I wanted to mention was the improvement in details. The wrinkles in the clothes, to each strand of the hair, to the stars in the background. This all makes the piece really stand out and look awesome.
You have really improved a ton!! And I look forward to more stuff from you. c:
